Instead, patients pay a monthly membership fee for the services included in their plan.We encourage patients to maintain separate health insurance to help cover medical expenses outside our practice, such as emergency care, hospitalizations, and specialist services.Please note that a FiCare membership is not health insurance and is not a substitute for comprehensive health coverage.Important Information for Medicare BeneficiariesAt this time, our practice is unable to accept patients enrolled or seeking care through Medicare. We encourage individuals enrolled in Medicare to contact their Medicare plan or visit "Medicare.gov" (https://www.medicare.gov/) to explore available healthcare options.

Your FiCare membership provides access to personalized primary care focused on your health and well-being when you need it. Same day visits available on most days.

Do I need to have a membership to be seen?

Accepted Answer

No, but we highly recommend it! We offer single visits for $175 per visit, generally intended for patients who need evaluation and treatment for an acute illness or a new, short-term health concern without enrolling in a membership.For patient safety, single visits are not intended for ongoing management of chronic conditions. We do not prescribe or refill medications for chronic conditions during single visits, as these medications may require ongoing monitoring, follow-up, and regular evaluation.Telehealth is not available for single visits. Patients scheduling a single visit must be seen in person.

What ages do you accept?

FiCare Direct Healthcare provides primary care for patients ages 13 and older.We also offer school physicals and sports physicals for children younger than 13, subject to appointment availability and the services we provide.

Are telehealth visits included in my membership?

Yes! Telehealth visits are included with every FiCare membership.Note: If your condition requires a physical examination or additional testing, we may recommend an office visit.

Is there a registration fee?

A one-time registration fee of $75 applies to eligible new memberships beginning January 1, 2027.Patients who enroll by December 31, 2026, can have this one-time fee waived under our introductory offer.

Do you provide specialist referrals?

Yes. When a medical concern requires specialized evaluation, we can help determine whether a referral is appropriate and guide you toward the next steps. We work closely with certain specialists who also offer affordable care. Specialist visits, imaging, and other services outside FiCare are generally separate from expenses and may require health insurance or direct payment to the outside provider.
